Re: 1994 Draft Discussion
Buck was an inside scoring big who couldnt shoot outside of the paint (best season was .617 FT%, only two seasons above .600). Howard looks to be a more complete scorerCraig wrote:Seems very Buck Williams-y (but without the flexibility to play SF)Oregon Ownage wrote:I dont get the hate for Howard at 3
He can easily become legit into 2 years and is only 21

Ngl, really wanted Reeves.
Not a big fan of the more DASL-ready guys, so I'll take a swing on potential.

Re: 1994 Draft Discussion
Sorry busy getting ready for a trip tomorrow.
So I feel like Eddie Jones will be best pick. Notes had him as the more for sure pick. Simmed the best.
Juwan Howard had the highest bust simmed. So I see the hate. But he can still be better than Buck.
Grant Hill is the biggest steal. Should of been a top two.
Big Dog will be the highest risk/reward player at #1 that we’ve seen.
And loving the Murray pick at 8

Re: 1994 Draft Discussion
When I traded up to 4, Eddie Jones was my target as the notes were easy to fall in love with and most of the recent SGs coming in with similar profiles (Gill, Richmond, Steve Smith) have all progressed pretty well so it's easy to project him as a B A- C B+ high level scorer. Hill dropping to 4 threw a wrench into that plan and although I was still VERY tempted to go with Eddie Jones, I couldn't pass up Hill and just hope I won't regret it down the linejibbajabba614 wrote:Sorry busy getting ready for a trip tomorrow.

Re: 1994 Draft Discussion
I gave him similar notes to Hill. Like I said, he’s not a bad pick. He simmed one time and got multiple MVP awards. Other times he was more of a 18ppg type of guy. If he can be a B+ B scorer for sure. But Hill can be a C+ A- type of scorer to but effective. Only reason I said Hill was a stealduckyoubeavers wrote:doesnt feel great to see the guy who made the draft file say this..jibbajabba614 wrote:Thought Kidd was going #1…
the part about him not being able to be a 20ppg guy got me off of him. robinson sounds like he can be a superstar

I could see 3-4 I’d really want..DrBradBuss wrote:Just dogs left
Also I see 1 potential steal in second round with no notes. I won’t put him on my draft list.
Will have to wait until after draft is done

Jones was my target for 4 before I traded. Im happy with Rose at 6 though just because he’s a 6’8” guard. Just gotta hope he sims well and developsjibbajabba614 wrote:Sorry busy getting ready for a trip tomorrow.

Re: 1994 Draft Discussion
Yea, he has the potential to be a C+ A- A- A- C C player or B+ C B+ B+ C C player…. If he can develop like Penny did in 2-3 years, you got something special. Or he could never have a good TC.Foxyg1396 wrote:Jones was my target for 4 before I traded. Im happy with Rose at 6 though just because he’s a 6’8” guard. Reason I like to sim multiple seasons multiple times to get a better understanding of the prospect

Re: 1994 Draft Discussion
I went back and forth on what to do with him. Do I make him a SF? What about a SG who can play PG? Ultimately decided on a PG build but with sizeFoxyg1396 wrote:Jones was my target for 4 before I traded. Im happy with Rose at 6 though just because he’s a 6’8” guard.
