Both things can be true. I’m sure NIL is playing a huge factor at this point but what opened the door was Dillingham leaving. If he had stayed, I don’t think Moore would have opened up his recruitment like he has.

tOSU is in the process of flipping UW’s QB commit so I doubt they’re an option for Moore.

Relationships are important but even if you re coming from a middle class household, that +5 mln NIL is going to be a top priority. If another school can top that by a few mln, you def try to squeeze.

I think families are smart enough to see how many 5star qbs flame out or get career altering injuries. Its smart for them to take the amount of NIL schools are willing to shell out for top qbs nowadays.

The way I see it going in the future is that the NCAA will collectively bargain on behalf of all the S-A's with some sort of Anti-trust exemption similar to the Pro Sports Leagues so that ALL of the players get paid a portion of the media deals, not just a few at the top through NIL.

If given the option, I would honestly prefer getting Moore if it meant Bo not coming back. If Bo comes back and we end up losing Moore, we are kind of fucked after next year. Even more so if Bo gets hurt during the season.

Again, I'm not gonna' stress on it. Yes, he's a 5 star recruit, but we've seen 5 star recruits not pan out in the past. I'm not saying I wouldn't like him to stay committed to Oregon. Of course I would! Still, we can step into the Transfer Portal next year and find a PROVEN QB.

I'd almost guarantee that the Ducks will do that after Bo leaves even if Moore does come. I can't see Lanning "giving" anyone anything. Competition gets the best out of everyone. We're going to need a decent backup, and if Ty Thompson isn't able to establish himself soon, I don't see the Ducks having any other options.

There's also no guarantee how much longer Chip will be at UCLA. He had a decent year this season, but if he loses a couple seasons back to back he'll likely be gone in 2 years.

Come on signing day!!! Let's get this stuff settled.
