Robinson? I thought we let that ship sail ages ago when we refocussed on Lamar?greenyellow wrote:Based on the way things are trending for recruits, it certainly feels like Harbor is their only real shot at another HS guy. Robinson is either UGA or Texas, Pleasant sounds like a USC lean, and Jemari Johnson is likely sticking with his Louisville commitment. The positions they need addressing immediately are going to be handled through the portal. Burch and and S Evan Williams feel like they could be committing really soon.

From The Athletic. Ranked him the #1 transfer in the portal.Burch played a rotational role in his first two seasons, averaging about 25 snaps per game, before earning a starting job in 2022. The 6-foot-6, 275-pound edge rusher recorded 60 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks and was credited with 29 QB hurries on the year by Pro Football Focus, second-most in the SEC.

Did some reading on South Carolina boards. The consensus seems to be they are bummed he's leaving, but also, he hasn't lived up to his billing so far. I guess we'll see. This has to be a record for number of DL players on the roster; hopefully a great line emerges.

Oh good the 9-1-1 defense is much more sound than that 8-1-1 you guys were pushing.

It wasn't a bad recruiting weekend for Oregon as Williams, Soelle, and Burch all committed after visiting.

When someone leaves isn't it standard for the fan base to disparage them???[WINKING FACE]Phalanx wrote:Did some reading on South Carolina boards. Agreed. The “911 defense” is much more likely to catch on too.GrandpaDuck wrote:Oh good the 9-1-1 defense is much more sound than that 8-1-1 you guys were pushing.
