2023 Late Signing Day Thread
We should probably have a thread even with so few recruits on the board.

Re: 2023 Late Signing Day Thread
Based on some of the reactions on Twitter and Scoop Duck, it sure looks like there may be some good news with regards to Pleasant. Still not sure they're going to land either Harbor or Pleasant but maybe there'll be a signing day surprise.

If we don't sign one or both, will we sign anyone?

Wiltfong now saying we’re in the lead for Harbor. Sounds like we came in with a really hard to beat plan for NIL, football, track, marketing, etc. With the way this staff closes I wouldn’t be surprised if we got both Harbor and Pleasant.

To me, these plans are the things that makes me feel Nike is a lot more involved than is said. Their research/marketing teams have so much experience living in them, perfectly built to present these taylor made packages to these kids.dthomas=ddixon wrote:Wiltfong now saying we’re in the lead for Harbor. Also helps that the Division Street collective is made up of former Nike execs so they know about branding and promotion with athletes. Supposedly on Harbor's trip, they let him meet with legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield and had them design a shoe together.pudgejeff wrote:To me, these plans are the things that makes me feel Nike is a lot more involved than is said. Tin was a phenomenal HS athlete. Sprints, Pole Vault at Central Linn HS, and borderline star at Oregon prior to his association with NIKE.
In his HS career, TH was one of the test subjects during the development of the early fiberglass and graphite vaulting poles.
He should have been able to provide a unique point of view for Harbor to ponder.

Harbor at 10:05PST and Pleasant at 10:30PST. Back-to-back on ESPN2, so we should know on both within the next hour.OregonFan4Life wrote:What time do Pleasant and Harbor commit today?

Not Oregon-related but ASU has landed QB Jaden Rashada. Good get for Dillingham.

Figures he'd end up close to home. If only Oregon had gotten involved sooner to work the family and GF.
