Edit: looks like the rumors of Burch being carted off is a huge exaggeration but does look like he was left injured during practice but it wasn’t too bad. Here’s to hoping he’s OK, but it would totally be typical Oregon luck to lose Burch…

Maybe it's a good omen since we won without Thibadeaux last time.

Can I please get a Gameday sign with Carlos Locklyn Jordan tears? I wish I could hear some of the smack he's telling the RB's this week, lol.

For the most part, I don't think I fall into the "I like this guy when he's with us and dislike him when he's on the other sideline" but I definitely was duped by Locklyn. I didn't understand what a weird guy he is.

I’m not brimming with confidence that we’ll win but I also don’t believe we have a lot of reasons to be scared of tOSU.
Day’s record against highly ranked opponents is not great, Chip hasn’t scared anyone in 10 years, Will Howard is just ok, they’re traveling two time zones, and they haven’t played anyone with a pulse so far this season.
The ducks haven’t exactly blown me away so far but tOSU has plenty of things going against them in this game and, if we play well, we can absolutely beat them. I think we win this one close.
All that said, I really want to see two things in this game: Matayo/Tatum stepping up so we can get to Howard without needed to blitz constantly, and Gabriel to involve Evan Stewart much more. We’ll need some of the borderline guys to have great games in order to win tomorrow.

If this comes down to who has the better quarterback, there's a reason why Gabriel was 1st team Big 12 last season and Howard was 2nd.

The Jordan Burch injury is everything in this game. I really feel his presence is going to be the key to us winning this game. Without him, I'm not saying we can't do it -- clearly we can -- but his emergence over the past two games was the biggest reason for my confidence.
I've seen the Twitter reports from Jhop about how the initial reports were overblown, but I wonder how much of that is damage control from sources within the team. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

Willie Taggart is a dick.

Jhop wasn’t the only one saying that. The owner of Rivals DSA also said Burch would be able to go.pezsez1 wrote: Fri Oct 11, 2024 8:05 pm The Jordan Burch injury is everything in this game.
