I just don’t see what you see in Wisconsin. It’s also supposed to be a low of 48 in Madison on Saturday, not some crazy blizzard that some predicted in the preseason

I’m very grateful for Limar picking up Noah’s fumble on the kickoff return against BSU but I’m ready to see Riggs and/or Harris get the 3rd string RB reps.

That felt like a classic garbage P12 game. Bad opponent that has good talent at skill positions and is willing to take chances to keep the game close. I respect Maryland far more than the Iowa and Minnesota like B1G teams.

Well we didn't lose our worst performance of the year. Miami and Georgia can't say that. We're not likely to take Wisconsin lightly now. Kittens and puppies are cute.

Oof. The absence of Tez was really apparent on 3rd downs.

Also, I hope James is just being rested for the playoffs and not dinged up.

Other than the one penalty, I didn't notice Iuli getting abused or anything--but I wasn't looking for it either. I hope the O line holds up while Harper is out.

But to have a rough game against a middle of the conference team, 39-18 isn't that bad. Just ask Coach Cristobal.

The offense really was only able to put up 18 points. That's just bad.

(defense gifted the offense a field goal [3], defensive TD [7] and the TD at the end of the half probably would've been a field goal [-4]

So that's 14 extra points thanks to the defense + refs

Then the defense sets up another short field at the end of the game but the game is pretty much over so you can make whatever of that last TD.


James sitting on the sidelines is slightly concerning. Whitt looks better but he's a clear downgrade, and don't get me started on Limar.

Then we lose Burch again. Ouch.

2nd week of not looking great. I'm a bit worried this team isn't trending the right direction (possibly because many key players are out)

That's good news! He also said they're being careful with James. He looked ready on the sideline (and kind of pissed that he wasn't back in).

This was a weird game. I'd love to hear more from the Xs and Os guys on this forum, but to me the O-line looked fine. I kind of wonder if Stein called an unnecessarily conservative game thinking maybe the O-line wouldn't hold up as well as it did.

Lots of drops that took the air out of drives. Lots of penalties that gave Maryland life. Clean up half of those things and this game feels far more comfortable.

Not worried about how they looked. They still won handily. The defense played the bend-but-don't-break game and got enough stops and some turnovers.
