Sucks that the team didn't get as many recognized, Harmon in particular feels like the biggest shame of them all. Hopefully they use it as motivation to show-out.

Offensively, I was actually surprised that Harper made it on the 3rd team.Duck07 wrote: Tue Dec 03, 2024 11:53 am Sucks that the team didn't get as many recognized, Harmon in particular feels like the biggest shame of them all. Hopefully they use it as motivation to show-out.
But defensively, we definitely feel under-loved. Harmon should have been higher than 3rd team. And also crazy we had 0 DBs make a team. But when you're in a league with 100 teams, it does make sense.

Media did a slightly better job at picking the all-conference teams than the coaches, who were just as salty as the Pac-12 coaches were over the years.

For as much as people bag on media, the media consistently do a better job than the coaches in identifying the best teams (polls) and players.

That was always consistently the case when Oregon was in the Pac-12. They'd barely get any first and second-team slots from the coaches but the media all-conference teams would have tons of Ducks.StevensTechU wrote: Tue Dec 03, 2024 1:05 pm For as much as people bag on media, the media consistently do a better job than the coaches in identifying the best teams (polls) and players.
