I'm excited for this game and I hope Oregon wins without any notable injuries. I know the goal is a national championship, but I feel this season is a success if we win the B1G Championship in our inaugural year with wins over all the traditional conference powers. Obviously, I want more -- as we all do, and as the team does -- but winning tomorrow would be historic for our progrum. It would be something Duck fans would talk about forever, about how we slipped into the B1G on a half share and then proceeded to dole out full shares of WhoopAss.
Willie Taggart is a dick.

I love it. If a national championship happens, this needs to be a book. One of my chapters would be getting to the Big 10 and almost immediately realizing Oregon was added to class up the joint, that their depth was as bad or worse than the PAC's had been. The pro-Oregon propaganda coming from the Big 10 conference as soon as Oregon was added should have been a clue. It really is sad that stupid USC caved to money pressure when they did, just as Oregon, Colorado, ASU and others were starting to get it together. I know it pissed some Michigan fans off when they found out, but I thought that timeout in the Big House was genius by coach Lanning. Just look around and realize as their fans head for the exits that they aren't all that.

Hopefully the Ducks can finish the job tomorrow.

The B1G CCG is very important, but Oregon shouldn't have to play in it. Penn State has everything to gain, nothing to lose, they're still in with a L. If Oregon wins, they; stay where they are. But what if Oregon loses? The Committee says it won't punish losers of CCG's. So, Oregon will still be No.1 if they lose?

Ducks are about as healthy as they've been all year:

While I get the idea of the #5 seed possibly having an easier path to the championship game, it's also a simple fact that you have to play an additional game. Obviously, there's a greater chance for injuries with an additional game. And as long as any injuries incurred in this game aren't too bad, the winner gets 3½ weeks to get players healthy and also scout its potential opponent.

And being able to win the B1G Conference outright against a blueblood team in their inaugural year in the conference would be a tremendous achievement.

I still believe it is nonsense to have a league championship game when the league leader is undefeated/ Dumb.

The conference is too big to settle properly with a 9 game schedule. Even with a CCG. Last round of realignment just made a mess.

Yeah, the big conferences are dumb. They’re at least going to have to create divisions again to try to balance schedules a bit. Then the CC makes sense again.
