The longer Ewers stays in school, the more he's gonna get found out. Whatever his draft stock is at Texas, it's only going to get lower after Michigan State.

Is Jakobi Lane going in the portal and what are the odds we would have at him?

Who knows these days, but he seems very content at USC.thomas time wrote: Sat Dec 14, 2024 6:21 am Is Jakobi Lane going in the portal and what are the odds we would have at him?

Re: Transfer portal targets?
Ewers just isn’t that good. When I’ve watched him he seems like a less mobile Daniel Jones. He makes bone headed plays, and you can’t say it’s coaching. Say what you will about Sark, but he can coach QBs. I wouldn’t want him at UODuck07 wrote: Fri Dec 13, 2024 6:54 pm People forget that we got this year's Portal QB last year when got 2 of them! lol
Seems like the first team has made itself known in the Quinn Ewers race and its our buddy Jonathan!

Re: Transfer portal targets?
Former Oregon RB Dante Dowdell is transferring from Nebraska. Given the Ducks may lose James and Whittington, I wonder if they'd look at bringing him back since they'd basically only have 4 freshmen and sophomores manning the position.

Unlikely? I’ll be honest, his 4.3 ypc isn’t the most impressive.

Re: Transfer portal targets?
I hope they don't. Dowdell isn't a special back. I think the room is full, but if it's not, Wayshawn Parker is a far superior option.

Give me every Branch. I’ll take them all. Hell, I’ll take the entire tree. A bonus will be that it just pisses off USC fans even more.

Re: Transfer portal targets?
Ohio State just got OT Phillip Daniels from Minnesota, so I think that helps our chances with Isaiah World.

Re: Transfer portal targets?
Based on potential needs, they're probably still looking for 1 RB, 1 WR/TE, 1 OT, 1-2 DL/Edge, and 1 LB.

Plus it seemed like everytime I watched him play this year, he was putting the ball on the ground. DL doesn’t put up with fumblesUOducksTK1 wrote: Mon Dec 16, 2024 7:33 pm Unlikely? I’ll be honest, his 4.3 ypc isn’t the most impressive.
