Another must win. A series sweep this week would be ideal.

Oregon making a change to the starting lineup with Barthelemy replacing Tracey.

I’m not sure I’m going to last the entire game, I might go pour salt in my eyes instead.

Looks like once Oregon was down 15 they realized playing with energy and effort is a good thing! Bamba and Cook really brought energy to the court. I hate how quickly Altman subs out Evans, I want to see him get more meaningful minutes, he does bring athleticism and he is a solid rebounder. Seems like the team looked a lot better with Cook and Evans on the court compared to Angel and Bittle. Bittle is really frustrating as his effort, particular on defense and rebounding, is really lacking.

I am LOVING Evan’s effort on the glass! He’s getting some big offensive rebounds!

Turns out you can’t be bad on both ends of the floor….
Can’t create on offense, can’t hit open shots, and can’t contest drives on D.
Not a great formula for winning. It’s seemed all year that this team was short on athletes, shooters, and shot contesters, but they’ve really fallen apart over the last few games. Wish we could figure out what finally broke them.
Still time left in this game, and plenty of games left in the season. In Dana we trust.

Our offense is SO bad. All these other teams can shoot fine against us, but we just apparently don’t have the talent to match any of them.

That was nice, but on his three offensive rebounds, I think we got two points off of them.OregonFan4Life wrote: Sun Feb 02, 2025 6:54 pm I am LOVING Evan’s effort on the glass! He’s getting some big offensive rebounds!
2-4 FTs, 0-1 FGs, 2 turnovers, etc.
Plus he got beat on defense numerous times I was watching.
Barthelemy had a brutal day. Bittle’s +/- stat was pretty mind boggling. I do notice when we’re not getting him heavily involved in the offense, it is better not to have him in the game.

You should probably do just that. It'd be less painful.OregonFan4Life wrote: Sun Feb 02, 2025 5:59 pm I’m not sure I’m going to last the entire game, I might go pour salt in my eyes instead.

This is a really bad loss. I’d be shocked if this team keeps either game on the Michigan trip within double digits.

That’s 5 straight games I’d say that Oregon played poorly.
Even our win against the huskies during that time didn’t look too great until the end.
Hopefully Dana figures it out soon. We are on free fall.

During the game MacLean says, "With 8 Quad1 wins, Oregon's making the tournament...unless it just completely falls apart."

The entire team just looks demoralized and lacking confidence right now. It's almost like they're waiting for someone to take charge and save them. There's no consistency in who'll be scoring or shooting well. And it's not any better on the defensive end as it looks like no one is communicating or fighting hard. It wasn't like this in the non-conference.
