Oh my, where to start...

I've only been to like 7 or 8 road games, but one of my favorite plays with Joe Walker's stop on Stanford's 2 point conversion (37:33 mark):



Home games is tough. I think Matthew Harper's interception against USC (10:15 mark):


There's a ton of home game memories, so I'll think about it more.

Jesse Williams - 6'1 - high jump 7'6 at old Hayward Field. Biggest 'holy s***' moment I've ever had in sports, and since it's the high jump, it sort of happens fast. I just don't think I've ever seen such an insane display of athleticism in my life.

His record was 7'9 1/2, and he's top 20 all-time in greatest disparity between an athlete's high jump PR and their personal height.

Favorite plays that immediately come to mind. Not sure why they do, but definitely left an imprint on me.
1. Clemens touchdown to Demetrius @ home vs. USC to put us up 13-0. Magical.
2. Whitehead cutback touchdown against Fresno St.
3. Blount's hurdle of Boise St player at home.
4. Ifo-Ekpre Olomu interception against Mich St.


Also favorite plays by our opponents in person:
1. Reggie Bush long cutback at Autzen for TD
2. Desean Jackson sweet catch and hesitation run down sideline for TD.

Nothing compares to the pick. But was anyone else there for this one? Wazoo Smith's 98-yard fumble return in the 1966 Civil War. Ducks lost anyway; this was pre-Fred Milton when the Beavers were dominating the rivalry.

I’m not as old so I wasn’t really a fan of Oregon football when the pick happened so my favorite plays are more recent.

Also it’s way too hard to pick just one so I’m going to go with home, away, and neutral site.

Home: LMJ touchdown run against Stanford in 2010. Great game and comeback from Oregon, and that run just felt like such a statement.

Away: I was also at the Tennessee game and while I did love the LMJ run I loved the Cliff Harris pick six most. While the run did make the Tennessee crowd worried that pick six took out any hope the players and crowd had and just made the game 100% Oregon’s.

Neutral: Michael Clay fumble recovery - 2011 Rose Bowl. That was right of where I was sitting and because of the angle I could see the Wisconsin WR fumbling the ball, but where I was sitting nobody really reacted because we thought the ball was going to go out of bounds. And then suddenly the ball just stayed on the ground next to the sideline, but then when Clay was diving I thought he was going to knock it out of bounds, but he recovered it perfectly. I remember the crowd around me going nuts and some of us noticing Chip’s jumping. That was that play where we felt like it was going to happen, Oregon was finally going to win a BCS game under Chip which at the time was a big deal.

This was our first game after the Boise State fiasco. Blount was out, and we had these two young RBs suddenly carrying the load. And wow, what a night! Was the coming-out party for James and Barner. This moment stands out though because we were sitting not far from where Barner ran into the endzone. Was there with my brother & my cousin, and not only did the place EXPLODE when he scored, but it also started to rain! It was super cool and extremely cathartic after what had happened at BSU. And Barner went on to become one of my favorite Ducks of all time.

My buddy even asked me down 2 scores how we were going to win and I laid it all out down to even saying we can't score with enough time for them to get into FG range!, lol.

I don't care whether it was touched at 9.5 yards or not and Pat Chung had the ball on the ground before (automatically down) he was stripped. CMS didn't even try to stop us from rushing the field and I ended up next to Toby Keith and asked him if he liked apples before running off to another mob of Ducks!

It was also a memorable week leading up to the game; the massive student camp-out at Autzen just to get tickets stretched from the South Ticket Entrance around the Mo and into the old staff parking lot near MLK and is one of those college moments I'll keep. We made sure to bring giant trash bags to help clean-up, but the Administration would move to the online ticket distribution as a result of that campout and I feel that removing that helped destroy the student section from those who wanted to get in to those who simply could get in.
