Is this the most Ducks picked after two days? I know several of these guys spent most of their college career at other schools, but it's still great to see 'Oregon' beside so many draft picks.
I wonder if there is any pressure on the Jaguars to take Shedeur? They have the second pick in the next round, and the team ahead of them, the Titans, already got Cam Ward. Seems like a great way for everyone to save face, and Trevor Lawrence has been pretty underwhelming so far in his career. I guess that would put a lot of media pressure on Lawrence all of a sudden though.
Gotta be.
Teams with 6 or more guys drafted in first two days:
-Ohio State (7)
-Oregon (6)
-Georgia (6)
-Texas (6)

If that was actually anybody with New Orleans the NFL should fine them for that nonsense. (I heard it was just a prank call and not the Saints)
It's one thing for NFL teams to have second (third, fourth) thoughts on a prospect who creates their own media circus but another entirely to get into that, if true.
I was starting to actually feel sorry for the kid after watching that, and then my conspiratorial mind wondered if the whole thing was a fake in order to gain sympathy.

I felt a little bad for him after watching that. He's barely an adult, and unless he's a complete sociopath that's got to hurt.
That said, he needed a good humbling. His Rolex celebrations may have been the cringiest things I've ever seen on a football field. In our society it's far too easy for wealthy & entitled a-holes to surround themselves with "yes men" and never be held accountable for their actions or behavior. Shedeur's freefall in the draft was probably excruciating for him, and if he's half as good as he thinks he is then this will make him better & likely benefit him for the rest of his life.

Niners pick up Jordan James in the 5th round. Great news.
Browns take Shedeur after already drafting Gabriel. Not great news.
Browns taking a spaghetti against the wall approach with addressing their QB issues. It does seem they value DG a bit more using their 3rd round pick on him.
Denzel Burke goes to the Cardinals near the tail end of the 5th round. I wonder how much money Duck receivers cost him after he got torched so many times in the first game.
