Re: SB: Eugene Regional
Ducks are hammering Stanford's pitchers, up 11-5 in the 5th. Need every run with how Oregon's pitchers have struggled closing out games.

What a massive f'ing drop by the catcher on a foul ball. Instead of getting out of a bases-loaded jam, Grein gives up a grand slam. Good god. 4-0 Stanford in the top of the 1st.

Liberty is up 6-3 over #1 seeded Texas A&M in the sixth inning, so good chance the winner of this game is going to take on the unseeded Liberty Flames in round 2. For Oregon, that would mean hosting a super regional (Stanford is having their stadium worked on, so they'd have to travel to Lynchburg).

Holy smokes. McCoy got a ball to the face with a hard shot down the first base line, and while you can't see her face, the blood on her white jersey pants was VERY apparent.

We're in business. 3-run shot makes it 4-3 with the Ducks still at the plate, 1 out in the 2nd.

Boy did Oregon ever need a shot in the arm like that HR after letting up a grand slam and losing McCoy.

Ugh. Grein gives up a 3-run HR to the Stanford 1B who hit the grand slam. Been a disappointing last month for Grein.

Man. Game is still early, but it's already been an emotional roller coaster. Now two homers by each team, with Stanford still on top 7-5. End of 3.

Emma Cox responds with a 2-run HR in the exact same place Flannery hit hers. 7-5 Stanford entering the 4th.

Re: SB: Eugene Regional
I love that Chambers went right after the woman who has 2 HRs and all of Stanford's RBIs. No fear, stayed in her game, got the ground out. Bottom of 5 and still down two runs.
