2024 Win 7: Purdue

Fresh after an exciting win against Ohio State, the hype was fully back with Oregon! But the ducks only had 6 days off until they had their next game, and while it was a very bad Purdue team they showed some promise on offense the week before against Illinois starting a new talented freshman at QB. But that promise was broken quickly as they learned the hard way the Oregon defense is a new beast. While the Oregon offense started hot, they stalled a bit at the end of the half, meanwhile the defense was lights out all game long. Browne was running for his life all game long and while he gave a great effort he simply wasn’t able to handle the Oregon front seven. Oregon went on to show they weren’t going to have a hangover after the Ohio State win and they got their first conference shutout since 2012 with a 35-0 win.

Was at the game. I’ve never seen such a realistically negative fan base in my life. They’d call bad plays before they happened. There’d call touchdowns for us before they happen. They knew their team like the back of their hands which made them hilarious and fun to be around.
