Yup, but also averaged 4+ yards/carry.

Fun game! Sadiq is a man amongst boys. His incompletion shortly before the Benson TD to end the half was funny, cause Sadiq slowed down way too early and if he just kept running it would’ve been right in the bread basket and he would’ve walked in for the TD. It’s almost as if he didn’t expect such a good pass haha.

That TD to end the half though was something we wouldn’t have gotten with Gabriel last year due to his height. Moore really does add a missing element to this offense from last season, throwing over the middle.

Montana State DLine was DIRTY. They were diving at Olineman’s legs after the pass was thrown all first half. Multiple OLineman told the refs but those idiots didn’t call it. Poncho at one point got pissed and yelled at the refs. That for me was very disappointing to see and I hope Mullens never schedules them again.

I predicted Oregon would win 46-13 so I shorted them by 2 TDs on offense. Glad they showed how deep and talented they were against a vastly outmatched FCS team. Much better than last year's Idaho game. Can't wait to see how much better all the young guys will keep getting as the season goes on.

Except Davison has the talent to be at UO.

Davison is really light on his feet for such a big, powerful runner. He is more Freeman-adjacent than Habibi-likio

Sort of weird to take a swipe at a guy that put in 4 years of work on the team. Just cause he never led the team in yards or carries doesn't mean he didn't have talent.

Good game 1.

Great stuff: Sadiq, Moore's blocking, low penalties, no turnovers, Amauri Washington, Brandon Finney(that play he made on that bubble screen was NEXT LEVEL), Malik Benson, no serious injuries(assuming Pregnon is OK).

Freshmen as a whole looked amazing!

Concerns: (As much as anyone can have in a blowout), Boundary safety, 2nd linebacker(Mixon and Jackson both missed easy tackles) and running back(this is more of a weird one, because they played well today as a group, but if Hughes isn't going to be the guy, I don't see Noah as a #1 back against top teams....there's tons of talent, but the most talented guys might be the freshmen.) Dierre Hill is going to be the best of the bunch I think long term!

Any reason the video for Dan’s post game presser does not work?

Above link should work, it just doesn't start until like 9 minutes and something.

Yup LB looked like the weakest group.

A few surprises from yesterday:
-Flowers starting opposite Thieneman. I’m not actually surprised cuz I’m super high on Flowers. Just expected coaches to pick Lool or Woodyard.
-Hughes getting such few touches. This is #1 shocker. Wow.
-Gray playing over Bear.

Oline looked a ton further ahead than last year, much cleaner than at this point last year.

I actually thought the backup OLine looked good too which is encouraging for the depth of this year’s team and the future of the OLine position.
