He could start for a top team. Maybe Penn State?

What we already know about Moore, he spent a year getting his teeth kicked in at UCLA. And figured out he needed to sit and learn. Now history shows us, no qb has been successful with as few starts, and as young as Moore would be if he leaves. That’s why I tent to believe he will stay one more year. I also bet he gets a fat bag from NIL to stay.

Considering we stole him from Penn state, it would be fitting

I hope he stays for another season, NIL and a nice insurance policy may help with that but a Heisman and/or a natty may not.

The thing about Moore that I respect is that you consistently hear stories of his uncommon (for a young adult anyway) self awareness and emotional IQ.

The kid barely looked like he was playing a football game while 110,000 were screaming for blood.

I remember when he was being recruited a lot of reports spoke about his maturity, character and awareness, even as a high schooler.

He reminds me of Marcus, Justin & Bo in that when you watch him you immediately see the ability to stay present and consider all aspects of a decision. (I’d throw DG in there because he was a thoughtful human too even though he was hard and fast done with eligibility before he even made his final year transfer choice).

Also, it’s uncanny how much Dante reminds me of a hybrid mix of Aaron Rodgers and Mahomes in that no matter how off platform he gets he’s able to quickly get everything square at the moment of release. It’s an effortless thing that you have to slow down the film to watch. The level of core and also wrist strength that takes is ridiculous.

My best guess would be that we lose Novosad, and Moga and Smith stay. If Dante plays the 2026-27 season, then it's a wide open path for one of those guys to start the 2027-28 season. Moga would be a RS Jr and Smith would be a RS Soph for that season with RS Freshman Beavers and whoever our class of 2027 QB ends up being. IF the QB competition between Moore and Novosad really was as close as reported, then Novosad is a stud that will be starting somewhere next season.

First I’ll say if he heads to the league I don’t blame him nor could I say I would choose differently. From a developmental perspective I would say he should stay and I hope the right people are in his ear. In reality he has very few college snaps and one thing history tells us is historically inexperience does not far well in the Not For Long league. If he and his team look at it from a “can’t improve his draft position” then he will be gone, if they look at it as what’s best for a long NFL career (barring injury) then he should be back.

Also, the Ducks are going to lose most of their O-Line to graduation. There's no guarantee that they'll be able to replace all of those guys with proven starters.

I'd hate to see him go, and I don't think he's NFL ready yet. Still, it might be in his best interest to strike while his stock is so high.

The one bad thing about him leaving is he'd likely end up with an awful NFL team with no talent around him like he has in college. That's going to happen whether he goes this year or next, though.

He could always start a new social media acct. post a bunch of immature crap and tell GM, coaches and owners how it’s going to be if they draft him, tank his draft stock and go to a great team known for killing QB careers.

Don't forget to mention that he sounds refuse to be drafted by a team that has a quarterback he can learn behind, but also is at serious risk for injury every week, leaving open the opportunity to start sooner, this week even
