Re: Big Ten Title Game
I’d take a home playoff game over the big title game and bye. I really wish it went title game, then the next weekend playoffs begin Way to much downtime.
Lanning has said he wants the playoffs finished by Jan 1. Not sure that is something the ncaa can do, but if enough coaches want it maybe it happens at some point.

Re: Big Ten Title Game
How would this work? If Ohio State lost a game and Oregon and Indiana win out, Indiana would be in for sure. That would leave a tie between the Ducks and OSU. How is the tiebreaker settled?

Re: Big Ten Title Game
I wonder if things would ever get to the point that star players sit out conference title games like they do for non-cfp bowl games, or feign injuries like teams tanking for a lottery. The committee would likely penalize blatant cases, but the cases might not be blatant.

Based on something I just read from On3/Rivals, it does look like that if (1) the Ducks win out and (2) Michigan were to upset tOSU in Ann Arbor Nov. 29, the Ducks would indeed be in the B1G CCG (like it or not!).

Could you post a link? My understanding was that if Michigan beat tOSU, then it's most likely that Michigan would be in the championship game against Indiana, barring another loss.Greenblood wrote: Thu Nov 13, 2025 10:13 am Based on something I just read from On3/Rivals, it does look like that if (1) the Ducks win out and (2) Michigan were to upset tOSU in Ann Arbor Nov. 29, the Ducks would indeed be in the B1G CCG (like it or not!).

Was actually an email from On3. For Oregon to get to the CCG, it says "Michigan beats Ohio State, and Oregon wins out against Minnesota, USC, and Washington." For Michigan to get in it says, "Beat Northwestern, Maryland, and Ohio State, then get help with Oregon and USC taking additional losses."StevensTechU wrote: Thu Nov 13, 2025 10:28 amCould you post a link? I think the following is the link, though it looks like it involves a subscription to read, which I'm not doing at the moment:

I would rather ruin Indiana's season in the playoffs personally. I dont think they are as good as they played against us. Feels like they basically peaked in Autzen.
