Isn't he from Sacramento? I wonder if he's gonna try to play for Tosh at Cal.

If he was going to play for Tosh you'd think he'd stick around then because he'd have a spot at Cal locked in.pdxduck2013 wrote: Mon Dec 22, 2025 5:13 pm Isn't he from Sacramento? I wonder if he's gonna try to play for Tosh at Cal.
While players in the Playoffs will have their own Transfer Portal window, obviously some schools will have filled spots by then so I understand why some might leave now, but with Cal and Kentucky, you know you've got a spot if that's where you're going.

Could be because of Lanning's post-game meltdown. Hate to lose Lopa, but Finney would be worse.UOducksTK1 wrote: Mon Dec 22, 2025 1:26 pm He’s an injury away from playing full minutes in the playoffs. Don’t get it.
Bummer but oh well.

What are you talking about? Finney leaving? Lanning post game meltdown? Did I miss something?Phalanx wrote: Tue Dec 23, 2025 12:41 amCould be because of Lanning's post-game meltdown. Some Oregon fans got too jumpy with all the other DBs. Finney isn't leaving a starting spot on a CFP team. Sometimes saying "Blessed" means just that and nothing else.Phalanx wrote: Tue Dec 23, 2025 12:41 amCould be because of Lanning's post-game meltdown. He’s just saying Finney leaving would be worse for the Ducks, than losing Lopa.buckmarkduck wrote: Tue Dec 23, 2025 1:13 pmWhat are you talking about? Finney leaving? Lanning post game meltdown? This is what happens when you bring in better and better talent each year. The cream rises to the top and the rest enter the portal. Gonna catch flak for this but, I think our defense isn't as good as the stats say we are. We can't stop anybody from scoring in the red Zone. Never was all in on Tosh either.

I think the ceiling of our offense is much higher than that of our defense. Aside from Indiana, our defense hasn't faced any other opponents with a very good, balanced offense.nogerO wrote: Thu Dec 25, 2025 5:25 pm This is what happens when you bring in better and better talent each year. Well, USC is ranked 10th in yards/game and JMU is 19th (18th not including Oregon). Of course, those games were some of the worst defensive efforts of the year from the Ducks. I am kind of hoping there is a game Lanning has been holding in reserve where he doesn't empty the bench in the 4th quarter and the Oregon D takes it to another level to finish a game.alxtw wrote: Thu Dec 25, 2025 10:52 pmI think the ceiling of our offense is much higher than that of our defense. USC. By some metrics, they're the best offense in the country this year.alxtw wrote: Thu Dec 25, 2025 10:52 pmI think the ceiling of our offense is much higher than that of our defense.
