Ducks lead 6-4 heading into the B8. Decent outing from Clarke as he finished with 10 Ks.

Ducks can go for the sweep on Sunday after winning 6-4 in game 2.

Ducks pitchers struggling now as Scolari gave up 3 run in the 2nd inning and now Twist has done the same in the 4th after coming in for Scolari.

When the Oregon bullpen loses it, they really lose it. It’s quite remarkable.

Just not Oregon's day pitching. Also hasn't been a great day of decisions on the basepaths as Oregon has had two runners caught stealing, including a very questionable choice to have Hellman try stealing 2B.

Hellman with a 2-run shot to pull Oregon closer. Need the pitching to keep Northwestern scoreless though.

Ducks are making a comeback after two RBI singles and Hellman smacking his 2nd HR of the game (this time a 3-run HR) against Northwestern's new pitcher. Oregon down just 10-9 in the 7th inning now.

Oregon got leadoff man in the 8th on but couldn't do anything with him after a strikeout and double play ends the inning.

Ducks nearly walk it off in the 10th as Ryan Cooney sent a shot to RF with 2 runners on but it died on the warning track for an inning-ending flyout.

Once again Oregon can't push runs across to win it after having the bases loaded with 1 out. Onto the 12th inning.

Goodness that was a golden opportunity wasted by Oregon to win it in the 10th.
