And I imagine there's still a few top dogs that haven't declared yet.

I feel like there's a good chance we land a top 15 guy and a top 30 guy with basically all our NIL funds available. I'm actually pretty hopeful that our roster on paper will look a lot better post transfer than pre transfer. Hope I'm right lol..
Obviously I have no idea how much NIL money we had and how it was distributed, but it always appeared to me we spent almost everything on Shelstad, Evans and Bittle. Leaving little to nothing to fill the roster out with. I have never been a fan of Evans. Was not strong down low, average shooter. Always felt like we could have spent the money a lot better.

I feel similarly and based on a few things I’ve read, 8-10 million is a reasonable estimate. Personally I’m thinking closer to 8.

Shelstad, Bittle, and Evans all combined were probably close to 6 million.

Coaches talent evaluation and ability to find good pieces at a discount will be essential to bouncing back. It’s certainly doable!

I'm curious how much Oregon is paying Ariza since I can't imagine him being cheap as a near-4* recruit and the son of an ex-NBA player. Easy to see him being a $1 million guy while Spurlock is around $100-125K.

The portal is now open. So many players for Oregon to choose from but not sure where they'll be in the pecking order of things when blue bloods like Kentucky, North Carolina, Arizona, Louisville, and others can offer much more in NIL.

Our tier 1A options are likely not possible for the reasons you mentioned, but hopefully we can snag a 1B guy and a couple 2nd tier guys.

Just need to find the right fits. Dillon Brooks, Jordan Bell, Elgin Cook, Dwayne Benjamin, Dylan Ennis, Chris Boucher. Most these guys were 4 stars and 3 stars. I think Tyler Dorsey was the only 5 star from that group that went to final 4.

We don't need the elite, we just need a couple very goods and a few goods that can surprise some people. Go Ducks!

According to 247, Baylor, Illinois, Ohio State, and Oregon are the teams to watch for Justin Pippen. Not very good shooting percentages, but he's talented so hopefully it's just a product of playing at Cal lol.

Oregon has contacted San Jose State G Colby Garland, who they were after last year as well. Rumors are he's potentially an Oregon lean at this point.

Shelstad will be visiting Arizona and Louisville soon. Evans will be visiting Villanova and is rumored to be eyeing Kentucky as well.

Good scorer but a poor to so-so defender.

Oregon's first official visitor will be San Francisco G Tyrone Riley, who they were after last season before deciding to return to the Dons.

These are exactly the type of guys I hope Oregon can land. Career 49% FG and 35% 3PT shooter who rebounds well, and keeps fouls and turnovers down. Very efficient player, and we need more guys like this. Hope the Ducks can land him!

Another name to keep on is St. Mary's F Paulius Murauskas, who's been getting looks from major programs after averaging 18.4 points and 7.6 rebounds the last two seasons.
