Wow Giles went high, bummer we won’t see him play for ducks.

His signing bonus is going to be $700K+ so no way he turns that down.

Oregon really needs to hang on to at least one of Scolari and Gosztola because otherwise it's just Sanford returning to the starting rotation.

If both Cooney and Molony sign with their MLB teams, Oregon will have an entirely new infield. Easy to slot Vandy transfer Carter Johnstone at 3B and Long Beach State transfer Jake Evans at 2B. SS will likely be manned by returning SO Malosi Mata'afa-Alferos or one of the incoming FR/JUCO INFs like Sebastian Rolon, Kahanu Martinez, Briggs Roe, or Noah Figuered. Depending on where Jaksa ends up playing, that leaves a hole at 1B or C. If he's at C, 1B likely gets taken over by Coastal Carolina transfer Jake Book or JUCO transfer JT Summers. If he's at 1B or DH, that likely means C turns to JMU transfer Ben Barrow, Coastal Carolina transfer Cole Chamberlain, JUCO Cooper Barrow, FR Jacob Madrid.

Incoming FR C Jacob Madrid was taken by the New York Mets in the 13th round. Ducks may have a great chance to get him on campus now.

Ya seeing Gosztola going in 8th round makes me nervous. Was hoping he’d be 10 or lower.

It’s nice that there’s a good chance our entire recruiting/transfer class makes it outside of Giles.

OF Jack Brooks has been selected by the Washington Nationals in the 19th round. Will be interesting whether he comes back or decides to start his pro career right away.

Too bad Madrid signed with the Mets as the Ducks really have just Jaksa and a bunch of low-level backup catcher types now.

Doesn't appear Oregon will be getting SS/RHP Sebastian Rolon.
