#20 Northwestern @ Oregon (Oct. 31, Sat 12:30 PM Peacock)

I didn't catch this the first time, but I thought it was hilarious how the announcers had this prepared Halloween graphic put together about how terrible the Oregon offense has been and then just as they were finishing, Brandon Smith rattles off a 35-yard run. This was an enjoyable game for so many reasons.

What I’m still really curious about is where the offensive approach we’ve seen this year is actually coming from. Particularly the gimmicky trick plays and jumbo packages that we still saw in this game and that, as usual, didn’t work.

Lanning actually said in the post-game press conference that the 4th down TD run was the play Jay Johnson wanted to run earlier in the set but he was overruled in favor of the defensive lineman jumbo package nonsense.
