I just hope people don't jump on DT if Oregon loses a game or two early in the season. As long as he looks ok in spring, I still prefer him to Costa.
I think DT will be fine. He should get at least half the snaps in the spring and fall and most of the snaps against New Mexico. Thank goodness we don't play Tennessee in the opener!!!

Actually, DT did the best job against the Boise State defense, which they'll be facing in Tennessee. There's no doubt in my mind that the Vols will stack the line and force DT to throw until he proves he can consistently complete passes and move the ball. The key will be for him to get settled down and get a couple first downs and not turn the ball over.

Our O-Line is experienced, our running backs are top-notch (with or without James) and our receiving corp will be significantly upgraded, not to mention our Defense and Special Teams are, well, "Special". ;)

Masoli struggled big time early last season. If DT can get through the Tennessee game I think we'll be just fine.

Well he was kicked out of high school for something similar and had to go play in Hawaii. So yeah, his sticky fingers probably had something to do with not being recruited.

It's such a waste. What a talent he is and he threw it all away just being stupid. Kind of reminds me of Maurice Clarett at Ohio State. Not exact same circumstances, but similarly stupid.

well if it is true that LMJ won't be suspended at all that should help DT or Costa or who ever is QB adjust a little better!

Until I hear from Kelly that Masoli is indeed off the team and has cleaned out his locker, I wouldn't believe any report yet.

One way or the other, it will just be nice when all of this is taken care of. Hopefully that's tommorow.

Sounds like two radio stations in Portland reported different things on Masoli. Is this board going to crash tommorow?
