Wasn't he at the ASU game. Might have second thoughts about our offense.
? Webb was targetted quite a bit.

I don't get the lack of interest in Utah. Their coach a long time coach. They have been progressing each year. I know it is cold there but if was sending my kid to somewhere and didn't have the grades for Cal or Stanford and Oregon was not an option, Utah would not be a bad school for football.

I'd bet those schools in Utah's footprint Negative-Recruit them hard about their Coach and "leaving for another job" "poor facilities" etc.

I'd hope that's not the case. There's going to be a lot of certain change, and more potential changes to our offense happening next year.

We'll have a new QB and we'll be replacing I believe 4 O-Lineman. We have good up and coming talent, though they'll be young and mostly inexperienced.

We may also lose our OC, which may or may not be too much of an issue. Time will tell.

Things will obviously sort themselves out over the course of the year. Still, I expect there to be a few growing pains on the offensive side of the ball early.

I sincerely hope that these recruits are making a commitment to the school first and foremost, because nothing else is guaranteed.

I don't think they will that big of decline since they've got a lot of players sitting out due to transfer. Plus, they always seem to turn low-rated defensive players into absolute studs.

This is Utah’s most successful season since they were a G-5 team with Urban. Try convincing a 17 year old from LA that Salt Lake City is the place to be. My old boss sent her daughter there on a basketball scholarship, and she said she chose that for her because it was a clean city where she couldn’t get into trouble.

Also, success on the field is seen in recruiting on a delayed basis.

What is surprising to me is how well Colorado is recruiting. Mel Tucker is off to a hot start, even got that 5 star freshman DT Antonio Alfano, the Alabama transfer.

Alfano has lots of red flags which is why we and other teams didn't pursue. Worth the risk for a team like Colorado.

USC's recruiting is pathetic this year. If they don't finish stronger this could be the final nail in Helton's coffin.

And USC only has like 12-15 scholarships for this year's class but has already filled 10 spots.

Van Fillinger just de-commuted from Texas. Wonder if there’s any chance we get back in the picture with him.
