Huge loss! I would rather have kept Conerly and lose every other draft eligible player than vice versa.

Sad to see Conerly go, but tough to keep a sure fire 1st rounder from declaring for the draft. Happy for him and his family to live the NFL dream.

As a middle of the 1st draft pick, he'd make around 3M in his first year from salary/bonus. To me, this is one of those moves that let's you know that Phil isn't pumping the kind of money into the NIL program as trolls would want you to believe.alxtw wrote: Wed Jan 08, 2025 10:08 pm Sad to see Conerly go, but tough to keep a sure fire 1st rounder from declaring for the draft. Need Emmanuel Pregnon to quack now. Hopefully he likes damn green grass more than rocky top.

Yup, and phil would probably also need to cover a pricey and comprehensive insurance policy.Duck07 wrote: Thu Jan 09, 2025 9:52 amAs a middle of the 1st draft pick, he'd make around 3M in his first year from salary/bonus. Re: NFL Declarations - 2025
Slightly surprised, only because I think he's definitely getting a paycheck as a quality defensive lineman at the college level, and it could go either way with the NFL draft. I hope he impresses and sticks around the league for some years to come.
