Even if they lose, I root for the ducks, but I live in reality and Stein ain’t great, he is good. With elite talent, are you struggle against NW, Iowa, and Penn State. That is not a top caliber coordinator, mark my words 5 years or less Kentucky will be looking for a new coach.
Stein isn't even the problem tonight. It's Tosh and the defense that have spectacularly crapped the bed in the second half of this game. It's a complete lack of mental focus for a full 60 minutes, and that is going to get us a fat L against Texas Tech if it repeats.

Also, I’m gonna have to agree with QB11, we will see an improved defense next year under Hampton’s leadership. I am thankful for Tosh and he did good at Oregon, but he isn’t elite at defensive game planning, playcalling, and adjustments, and I think we will get much better at that under Hampton’s leadership.

Last thing I’ll say, maybe Tosh is more focused on Cal than Oregon….

Have to believe that is part of it.

Reasons I can think of for Dante Moore to still be in the game:

1) Dan Lanning really hates Luke Moga, Austin Novosad, and the other backup QBs.
2) Dan Lanning is suppressing the market value of backup QBs by not allowing them any game film.
3) Dan Lanning has Oregon at -20.5 and doesn't want to take any chances.
4) Dan Lanning is hoping a Dante Moore injury could bring him back in 2026.

That's all I got.

A 1-11 Georgia State team held JMU to 14 points in their game earlier this year. Just for comparison.

Why is this so eerily at the Vegas line?

The second half is a complete disaster. Embarrassing.

Looks like all the starters are still in the game on offense, yet we are not close to executing at the level of the first half. Insanely checked out right now. Not sure how you fix this in the short term, though, as it's happened time and time again. Again, for a program that supposedly has national title aspirations this isn't going to cut it. We looked fabulous in the first 25 minutes of the game, but that switch was flipped off for good just before halftime.

If it was tied and we needed to score do you think the drive would’ve looked like that? We saw that this offense could score at will. They are avoiding throwing down the field to keep Dante from being sacked and potentially injured and JMU is playing for pride not a win so they’re taking advantage of Oregon not calling plays to score because they want to score as much as possible so they can pat themselves on the back in the locker room.

If the 2nd half adjustment was to play like they didn’t care, then mission accomplished.
