OK this drive definitely is bad. This is shocking to see but makes me wonder if we’d be better off if Tosh heads out after tonight and Hampton takes over.

I agree, the defense completely fell apart. Love what Tosh did for us, but go ahead and take off bro, because we do this against TT, its game over.

It's not about a single series or even a single play. And I know for certain Oregon is not trying to avoid scoring. Rather, as JMU is about to score yet again with 2 minutes left, it is about a complete lack of focus on both sides of the ball over the last 35 minutes of this game. This has become a regular thing in the past few years, as Lanning's teams seem to be unable to put together complete games for 60 minutes against inferior opponents.

Maybe they figure out that they need to keep a laser focus for the entire 60 minutes against Texas Tech or else suffer an embarrassing loss. They might well do that. But games like tonight make it clear that this is far from a sure thing.

Just heard from a friend at the fans James Madison fans are talking a ton of trash and have been trying to start fights and multiple JMU fans have been escorted out due to aggressive behavior. That’s pretty sad.

And Barnett walks in for a TD to cap a 99 yard drive. That's called a complete mental meltdown by a team that is probably not going to beat their next opponent. This was the worst half of football the Ducks played all season, getting outscored 28-17 and only managing that 17 because the JMU punter kicked the ball into his own player's cheeks.

They deserve to talk smack after this. Their team came in and thoroughly outplayed the Ducks, the score notwithstanding.

At this point it’s so out of character it’s not concerning. Oregon clearly checked out at halftime. Thats the only logical explanation. It reminds me of the 4th quarter of the 2022 Civil War. It’s just so night and day from the 1st half.
