They will always be Pedo State to me . I doubt many of the players know about it.
Hey, how about our Ducks?

Considering that this was determined to be the biggest, best, most intimidating and generally the most mostiest everything atmosphere in CFB, any negative narrative about experience and performance on the big stage can now be summarily dismissed...

F!@k Penn State and F!@k their fans. As far as I’m concerned our players flipping them off was for SA survivors everywhere.
I hope this is a joke. The kids in the student section that were getting flipped off weren't even alive when Sandusky worked at Penn State, and they weren't old enough to be apologists for anything in 2011 when he was indicted. I doubt most of them even remember Jo Pa, who died almost 14 years ago.

I still believe Penn St should have had to shut down its football program after all of that. The ncaa should have given them the boot

Back on topic. We really need our injured LBs back. Bircher played solid, but he was wore out down the stretch. You can’t just roll with 2.5 guys all year. I fully believe those last two drives don’t happen, if we had the 3 guys to sub in throughout the game, keeping BB and Mixon fresh.

Ya our D looked tired in 4th quarter. I will say though, our tackling through the first three quarters was amazing.

I'll add the tackling since Lanning came has totally improved. Mario and NONE of the DCs had had taught how to tackle. It was abysmal at best.

Can we all at least agree our Ducks do not exist in a vacuum? Please?!?! Y’all, Penn State has elite recruits, elite home atmosphere and elite coordinators on both sides of the ball (that being said Franklin strikes me as extremely fake & smarmy. Like a spoiled rich kid who is only popular because he has all the toys but when he has to show any substance he has none and becomes pouty, petulant b!tch.)

Rather than blaming Dan, Tosh or Stein, I say tip the cap to Kotelnicki for his adjustments. The fact that it took him 3 and 1/2 quarters to figure it out is a credit to Tosh, Hampton and Lanning.

On the other side of the ball, their D was just as gassed but they got a final adrenaline boost from Harkey’s boneheaded retaliation and the subsequent long TD pass.

Hindsight being 20/20 I think their D’s adrenaline dumped on the 2nd possession in OT where Bryant scored play #1. Had the game continued to go into more OT periods think their D was done. There are only so many adrenaline spikes you can get and they had theirs.

Just my opinion the morning after.

The tackling has most definitely improved, but there's still more that can be done. My biggest gripe with it is that rather than keeping their feet moving, and driving through the ball carrier, they tend to stop driving and get dragged an extra couple of yards instead.

Theineman's (sp) timing on that pick was beautifully perfect.

If we had him two years ago, he gets the INt on Penix in Seattle, that Bennet whiffed on.

Didn’t PSU have a bunch of common recruits at the game last night? Curious if anyone has heard any reactions.

One thought I've had about our 3rd downs is that while they might go down as "unsuccessful" I'm pretty sure most of them saw us still gain yards to set up all of those 4th and short situations; which for me just goes back to the poise of Moore and the trust in him to deliver in those moments.
