Better than last years' playoff game lol.

No knee dammit! Throw downfield. All of the miscues and ugly stuff and I think of all of the possible points we left on the field.

Tech gets the ball to start the 2nd half, this game is pretty much even so far. How long can the Oregon D hold off Tech's statistically good offense? Oregon needs to start opening up the passing game more in the second half. Hopefully the line can get better on pass protection with a tiring Tech defense.

I hear Jesse Palmer when he says the message should be stop with the self inflicted wounds, but in all honesty, in big games this year, the offense was full of self inflicted wounds. Think of the games our offense kept stalling when they could’ve put their foots on the opponent’s throat, they just kept having silly mistakes. Harkey stepping on Moore’s foot against Iowa, inability to go up 3 scores against USC, mistakes against Penn State, 4th down exchange issue against the Huskies, I was hoping by now this would be cleaned up but this just seems to be the Oregon offense this season. Capable of being very dynamic but can’t get out of their own way.

Or maybe the proof is already there? Tearing up the BIG 12 is pretty easy, not so much against a more talented team who played a much more difficult schedule.

Our pass protection was honestly pretty reasonable. We threw the ball very well and there’s guys open every play.

We need to pass more. Running so regularly on first and second down killed almost every drive. Some bad snaps and fumbled didn’t help either but need to pass more. Tech has 0 answer for our downfield passing game right now. Moore is on rate to have over 400 passing yards!!!

Yet we’ve ran it 50% of the time. Yuck.

Poncho is having a subpar game in the snap department. Otherwise, the line is playing how you'd project them to play based on the quality of the opponent. Our OL is good but their DL is great. Same issue as Indiana, and shown again against washington.

Lot of bitching about Stein from the usual suspects. Oregon is on pace for 400 total yards against one of the best defenses in the country. Are you people not watching the same game? That defensive line is absolutely dominant. The problem is the Oregon offense shooting themselves in the foot. Sure, the screens are annoying, but they haven't caused Oregon to 10+ yards on multiple occasions today's. They're setup plays.

Hopefully the defense holds up in the second half, and the offense gets their heads on straight during the halftime

Protection seemed to improve in the 2nd quarter. Wondering if that was due to adjustments? Saw Oregon stack a TE behind Harkey at least once. Or due to TT’s edge rushers tiring a bit?

When we put the RB 7 yards deep, we're getting decent (enough) yards to maintain drives; it's the lateral stuff that has to be tossed from the playbook.

I just wish we found the end zone at least once.... We had opportunities!

This first drive out of halftime will tell a lot about this game. Does Oregon defense maintain their performance or will TT offense finally do something? Usually big turns happen out of halftime.

I say they are not in game shape. The long layoff added to being on the field the entire first half, the TT defense will slip and the Ducks will break the game open.

Who gives a s*** about being on pace for 400 yards when Stein's braindead playcalling has cost us several TDs? Just throw the GD ball. Not backward, not sideways, but downfield. Just dink and dunk all the way down for TDs. TT can't stop it and everyone but Stein and a few people here seem to know that.
