Agreed. I like the helmets, but the jersey needs some green on the shoulders

Anyone else have Dish? On my program guide it’s not showing the game starting until 8pm and I’m here in OR. I’ve seen it happen before but it has always corrected itself to PST by this time in the week. It’s a recording concern not a viewing concern for me. Since I'm asking questions, anyone here do Starlink with YouTube subscription, I’ve pretty much talked myself into that setup after the contract is up through Dish.

If you don’t mind, what’s the general area you’re flying out from and how bad is the airfare? I thought long and hard about going but came to the conclusion that if I’m going to fly back East for a game I want it to be to one of my bucket list stadiums or to the NC game.

A couple days, there were flights from most west coast towns for close to $380. I almost pulled the trigger, but not enough buddies were able to join. Crazy how many kids birthdays land on championship weekend!

All this "Oregon is NOW physical" commentary is just so insufferable. Amazing how successful Arik Armstead, DeForest Buckner, TJ Bass, Shane Lemieux, Penei Sewell and so many others have been in the NFL despite not being physical....

Am I the only one more concerned about injuries than the outcome of the game? This game is so meaningless in a lot of ways, especially for Oregon. Yeah the extra week of rest helps but it also is an easy path to the semis as a 5 seed. And it seems based off of Franklin’s press conference they aren’t super motivated to win this game.

I know this would never happen but Lanning and Franklin should’ve had an agreement to only play backups to avoid injuries to starters, why should Oregon and Penn state be punished and risk injuries to starters because they were better than all the other B1G teams while less deserving teams like Ohio State get to sit around and rest for the playoffs this week?

100%. Injuries is the only way either team "loses." For his part, Lanning was asked about using players in this game who are redshirting this year, and he responded by saying that, yes, we should anticipate seeing those guys play.

People say the 5 seed is an easy path, but I'm not sure that's a foregone conclusion. What if Bama drops to the 12 seed? They aren't the Bama of old, but they have plenty of talent and potential to get hot and win a game. Don't get me wrong, I'm not sweating the outcome of the game, because the most important thing is that they're in, period. But if given the choice, I think having to win fewer games is always the better option.

Something I just read was that this will be Penn State's 7th straight game without a bye while Oregon is pretty rested having just done a bye and playing UW. Might be something to watch as we all saw how tired and beat up Oregon was in the Maryland and Wisconsin games.

Not like they can really use it as an excuse, since Oregon went 8 straight.
