Actually probably as many as they have as there's only about 1 starter in Nikko Reed and about 3-4 reserves from CA who play this season. (23/126 ~18% of roster is from CA)

Cali has been hit hard by East Coast Schools since the Clay Helton days and its gotten worse under Riley and the pathetic showing by other former Pac schools to keep West Coast kids on the West Coast.

Offense: George Silva, Bryce Boulton, Lipe Moala, Gary Bryant Jr, Jurrion Dickey, Jack Ressler, Ryan Pellum, Dillon Gresham,

Defense: Aydin Breeland, Keyon Ware-Hudson, Jericho Johnson, Kamar Mothudi, Jerry Mixon, Dylan Williams, Nikko Reed, Daylen Austin, Jahlil Florence, Sione Laulea, Solomon Davis, Peyton Woodyard, Kingson Lopa, Rodrick Pleasant, Dakoda Fields.

For Ohio State their prize backup QB Julian Sayin is from Carlsbad, CA and their last star QB CJ Stroud was also a CA kid.

Josh Simmons the star LT who is injured, Kourt Williams LB are both CA kids.

Honestly as I did this, a fair amount of their top players are from Washington: Emeka Egbuka, JTT, Gee Scott. Caleb Downs is an AZ kid.

So comparing each team to itself when they played the first time:

Ohio State:
- Won't have to play in Autzen, where false starts materially affected the game (I believe they had 4 or 5)
- Has a worse offensive line than the first matchup, with their award winning center unavailable
- Still on the OL, LT Simmons went down mid-game so they had no time to train up the replacement; should be better this time
- Left 3 points on the board (if kicker can convert) at the end of the game due to poor clock management

Oregon:
- Will have Traeshon Holden for the entire game
- Will have Jordan Burch back
- Has made big strides on the offensive line since the early season
- Likely won't win an extra possession via a crazy onside kick, but also won't lose a possession via a missed INT review
- Missed extra point unlikely to occur again
- Kenyon Sadiq has become more of a weapon
- Left 6 points on the field due to a missed field goal and going for it on 4th down at the 2 yard line and getting stopped (+4 at the end of the game, depending on your view, bc they prioritized running clock at the goal line)
- Emarrion Winston played a lot of snaps at DT in this game to neutralize Howard's running ability; Winston isn't expected to be available for this game, but perhaps Purchase could play the same role (TBD)
