Seems like we need a good series right here after the sweep of the Sun Devils..

We really do need a sweep, but we're hardly dependable to do such things this year so who knows. UCLA is kind of like us this year, really good pitching/poor hitting, and Washington played them close all three games last weekend. Lots of low scoring games. Despite the four game losing streak, all UW's recent games have been close, and they took a series from Nevada + one from Portland (who we certainly can't beat).

Barring a few bullpen collapses, we really should win these.

Our offense stinks. The starting pitchers can only do so much.

We could have the bases loaded with no outs every inning and get no runs. Just pathetic!

I struggle trying to decide if this team is an under-achieving bunch or if last year's run was simply a lucky aberration for a second year group. One thing is for certain: this team lacks an offensive punch. If we could get any sort of clutch run support we'd be looking at an entirely different kind of season.

Disappointing season to say the least, I'm sure Horton will get this team to put together a little run before the season is over though..
