chase looked awful in hawaii but has two HR and a double in two games at PK, in addition to two deep flyouts that would have gone yard in several other pac stadiums.

i didn't stick around for the postgame so I'm not sure who's pitching today, but if it's paddon and he struggles again we've not used nogosek or cleavinger yet this weekend so we have plenty of options in relief. props to graham for shutting it down last night.

Paddon gives up 2 runs in top of 1st without allowing a hit. Hit 1st 3 batters, a walk and sac fly

paddon hit his first three batters, walked in a run then allowed a single, then turned into a completely different human being. retired the side without further incident, and didn't allow a hit in the 2nd-5th innings. it was like someone turned a switch. then he found trouble again in the 6th and was pulled. much better than last week, but assuming karraker doesn't get shelled tomorrow i imagine he pitched himself out of a three game weekend rotation. too inconsistent.

I've always liked packard, and I hope he's ok, but grebeck needs to play over him.

Sounds like Packard is out indefinitely with a shoulder injury from last night and Heineman may play next week after sitting out with a concussion.

Leading 6-1 in the 8th. Karraker pitched well today with 8 Ks.
