CK visited him, hopefully things went well. Still a long shot, but you never know.

Hmmmm....definitely a Southern boy, so it seems like it would be hard to tear him away from home. Interesting.UOducksTK1 wrote:stud

One thing that may possibly work in our favor here is the rumor that Boyd and Patterson forged a friendship during the Army All-American week..
Definitely a longshot though.

If we could get him to visit us instead of one of those other schools we could have a shot. Also I heard Boyd told him about us at the AAA game and we got back on his radar, so if Boyd comes maybe or chances increase.

Great list of offers! It lists him as medium interest on most schools, does anyone know who he's leaning at? How does this not put us over the limit for WR's? Especially with guys like Wheaton who are still deciding.
In Helfrich, Frost, and Allioti we trust

I'd love to get him, but chances are slim so I dont want to get my hopes up.
How many wr's are we taking?
Gaines and Diante are said to be verbals but not official
We got the JC guy who I can't spell
Wheaton, Johnson are up in the air
Hall may visit, now maybe Patterson?

Holy crap how far did he move up in the scout rankings? When I checked a few days ago he was like a 3* #43 ranked WR...that is a HUGE jump.

He played for a crappy team in a small town, not a whole lot of people knew about him until the scouts saw his combine performance at the AA bowl (which apparently was one for the ages).DmoneyDuck wrote:Holy crap how far did he move up in the scout rankings? Who knows if he comes we'll be his last visit and the 4 schools in that profile that he's interested have already had him for visits.
Anyone know if this is a similiar situation to Kendall Kelly? I heard Kelly say in an interview on Rivals that he was looking at visiting Oregon last and we were possibly a darkhorse in his recruiting.

It says that he lead his team to the state championchip this year. Doesn't sound like a crappy team to me. Just thought I would bring that to your attention.

Re: Ducks looking at another receiver?
Patterson is real good. He was the 2nd best receiver in the AAA game and to those who saw it he was the one that hauled in a ridiculous one handed TD catch
