Re: Ducks Depth Chart
Assuming players get healthy and stay healthy, the majority of positions on offense and defense seem to be pretty well locked down. On offense it appears you have 1 battle at WR and 1 battle on the OL for a starting spot. On defense the only real battle for a starting spot seems to be at 1 of the defensive tackle spots. Here is what the starting lineup should look like (again, health permitting), with the red entries indicating one of the battles that could change.
QB - Jeremiah Masoli
RB - LeGarrette Blount
WR - Jamere Holland
WR - Jeffrey Maehl
WR - D.J. Davis (Cavaille and others in the mix as well)
TE - Ed Dickson
LT - Bo Thran
LG - Carson York
C - Jordan Holmes
RG - Mark Asper
RT - C.E. Kaiser
CB - Walter Thurmond III
CB - Willie Glasper
FS - T.J. Ward
ROV - Talmadge Jackson III
WILL - Spencer Paysinger
MIKE - Casey Matthews
SAM - Eddie Pleasant
DE - Will Tukuafu
DE - Kenny Rowe
DT - Brandon Bair
DT - Blake Ferras (could be Toeaina)

Re: Ducks Depth Chart
Vinny's post looks good to me. To add my worthless opinion;
DJ Davis has had some good days, but has yet to be consistent enough to be a lock as a starter. Particularly as well as Cavaille has played, good blocker, tough, great hands. And we haven't seen Gaines play healthy yet.
If Marvin Johnson comes on strong at Rover and Boyett continues to impress, will TJIII be moved back to corner causing a complete reshuffling at Rover, Left Corner and backup Free Safety? I would put both those spots in Red (unsettled).
Thran's health seems iffy and he is at a new position. I see two possible changes here. If Tran is not healthy Nick Cody or Weems at left tackle. I also could see a possibility of a healthy Thran being moved back to guard, though probably Left Guard and Cody or Weems starting at left tackle if the coaches think that Cody or Weems are more ready at tackle than York or Charmichael at guard.
