Yeah what happened to “I’m 100% committed blessed to be a duck blah blah blah”. Reminds me of when Buddha Baker said god told him he belonged at Oregon then decommits and goes husky.

It s what the game has become nowadays and kids these days. They're committed but still want to take their visits. Just got to accept that the recruiting game has changed and will always be changing.

Re: Johhny wilson is visiting ASU
Its a sad state that commitment is an empty word. That being said though, Oregon continues to pursue players who are committed elsewhere. I don't like the fact that commitment means nothing. We see it in our culture too. Marriages have a 50% divorce rate. Marriages are far more important than what school a 17 yr old goes to for college. It should not be a surprise that these kids do not value the word commitment. I hope he sticks and sees the kind of program Cristobal is building here.

In Cristoball, I trust. Our new receivers coach is pretty dang good, too. We'll be fine. Hopefully, this kid joins our flotilla.

Let him get laid there.
If he flips to that loser squad then good riddance. I think it’s just a kid testing the waters.

The “talent” in Tempe is second to none.woundedknees wrote:Just wants to check out the talent at ASU for himself...

Anyone else think maybe Wilson is looking around because of the addition of Devon Williams?

Re: Johhny wilson is visiting ASU
I'm sure that is a factor. It is very unlikely that Wilson would be able to break the starting lineup at Oregon next season. If that is important to him, there are teams that have a clearer path to playing time. I have no idea what the receiver situation is at ASU next year.brich75 wrote:Anyone else think maybe Wilson is looking around because of the addition of Devon Williams?

He was also there visiting with a more lightly-recruited HS teammate so I'm not sure how much we should really be worried.

Well ASU looked bad in a loss to USC, so that can’t hurt Oregon too much.

Re: Johhny wilson is visiting ASU
Watching Wilson's highlights, he's big and stiff. He's not Collin Johnson. He's probably going to wind up a tight end. He could end up a good tight end, though.
