Mops, Jhop, AJ, Tk, anyone. You guys are in the KNow more than we are and i appreciate your loyalty to the university as well as to us. That being said can you try and explain this too us? Phillip which we basically gave up on and figured was going to Stanford and now Wheaton. How can that happen? The Beavers don't have close to what we have to offer and yet they get two guys that would have been great gets for us. Do you guys think this is based on some silents we may have that we don't know about or have we just choked? Any info would be great. Thanks guys.

We are losing recruits left and right to weaker programs. What the heck is going on here? And no, the sky isn't falling, but this is very frustrating.

Two kids chose the beevs....OMG! Meanwhile we have a loaded team going into next year that's being ranked anywhere from top ten to even top five. Now the beevs get two decent recruits & the world is falling apart. Hope these 2 kids will like getting dominated by us for the next 4-5 years.

Losing Wheaton is on the coaches. He was ready to be a duck and then Kelly announced Pflugrad wouldn't be back as WR coach. Wheaton had bonded really well with Wheaton and once he was gone he was unsure of what was going on at Oregon. Without a WR coach its very clear and understandable to see the program be shaky. Would you want to go play for a school that doesn't even have the coach who would be at your position?

Phillip is a different story. He wasn't the lock for Oregon like some thought he was. I had heard the rumor but it became clear that it was false down the road. We were actually 3rd in the pecking order at the time. Stanford, UA, UO. OSU getting him was a total shock and will most likely be one of the biggest shockers of all the 2009 commits for every school.

Where are we losing top players left and right to weaker programs? Name them outside of Wheaton and Phillip.

Dude, let people express their concerns. It's extremely tough to lose 2 solid players to your in state rival, especially after hearing for weeks on this board that Oregon was looking good for them.

I new that we would have that S&*) thrown out there. I have to dissagree. You can look at almost all of my posts and I have felt the same as you. That being said I feel that we gave up on Phillip because we thought he was a Stanford lock and am worried that we may have gave away Wheaton thinking we had him in the bag. We will be good next year but to reach the level I think we all want to get to we can't be losing these type of players to our instate rival. I don't think the sky is falling but I do think we have the right to think we have made some mistakes with this recruiting season. We could still land Diante, Gaines, Bronw, and Boyd and everyone will feel good but we are getting to the point where we better land almost all of the mentioned above or this will not be the recruiting year we shoud expect after the last two years.

Phillipp was never ours, so no loss there & we lost 1, I repeat, 1 WR to the beevs. A WR that wasn't even that highly ranked, not that I go by stars. If we lose out on Boyd, Brown, Hall, Jackson & a few others, I will be on here crying with you. Fortunately none of that has happened.

I get that but look at our recruits over the last week. There are very few people that would be more excited about our last two than had we landed either one of the boys we are talking about. I agree that the world has not ended but lets not bring ourselves to the point that we have no right to second guess where we may have fallen short.

And a few of you are doing the same thing with Wheaton that pisses me off. Since he didn't choose Oregon, it's "oh well, we have other options so it's not a big loss". You can bet your you know what that if he had choosen Oregon, we would have heard "he will be the next great receiver with us". I'm sorry, I'm just tired of this lately.
