Would he come in to be a guaranteed backup? I just can't imagine him coming in with Bo coming back.

My source just said Chip is officially back!
It will be announced at Autzen press conference tomorrow afternoon!

My thoughts as well.karlhungis wrote:Would he come in to be a guaranteed backup? I just can't imagine him coming in with Bo coming back.
The OS message boards were giddy with the fact they were getting either DJU or Card and as far as I can tell neither signed today. Maybe I missed it but not finding anything definitive.

Why would Card go there? I guess I don't understand why either would now that I think about it.lmduck wrote:My thoughts as well.karlhungis wrote:Would he come in to be a guaranteed backup? I just can't imagine him coming in with Bo coming back.

Re: DJU
Seems like a bad landing place. OS is losing a ton, and they have no depth. I’d think Utah would be more attractive for Card, or Oklahoma St, who lost Sanders to the portal.karlhungis wrote:Why would Card go there? Re: DJU
Smith's Offense is QB friendly and Pro-Style but it also isn't utilizing its full playbook because he hasn't been able to get a QB with an arm. To that end DJ would be going in as a talented guy who still needs a lot of coaching for what he's shown in games. It could be a great fit for each side.karlhungis wrote:Why would Card go there? If he doesn't want to get hit by his brother then its Hawaii, lol.
