I kind of question putting that type of speed on Defense alone when his first HL are of him blazing away from people.
I'd play him situationally as a Pass Catcher and Pass Rusher until he grew into a position.

DJ Johnson 2.0, for better or worse.

I didn't even think Oregon was recruiting him as it's basically been Michigan, South Carolina, and Maryland the entire time for him.

Sounds like he wants to play offense.Duck07 wrote:I kind of question putting that type of speed on Defense alone when his first HL are of him blazing away from people.

Yeah, read he wants to play TE. Sounds like he wants to run track and doesn’t want to put on additional weight that he would require to play DE.dthomas=ddixon wrote:Sounds like he wants to play offense.Duck07 wrote:I kind of question putting that type of speed on Defense alone when his first HL are of him blazing away from people.

Don’t care what position he plays, bring him to Oregon! Freak athletes like that are a huge asset on either side of the ball. I get the defense is in far more need of help than the offense, but for edge rushers we should be ok with Matayo and Purchase coming in.

His highlight tape was almost unwatchable but based on the drawn out 2 minutes I watched, offense seems like the right idea. Almost too bad because I did like Jamari Johnson, the Louisville commit who seemed to be leaning Ducks.

I also read track was a big deal for him and he wanted to play offense…… DJ 2.0 I liked that.

For TE I’d rather have Duce.

Think Thomas Tyner. The measurables are so unreal that if they aren't a 5 star, what is?jimmy12 wrote:StevensTechU wrote:DJ Johnson 2.0, for better or worse.

As a tight end prospect, I would have really liked to have seen at least 1-2 catches on his tape that made me ooh and ahh. I loved Terrance Ferguson's high school highlights because he could catch everything.

Re: 5* DE/TE Nyckoles Harbor visiting
He is saving the Ducks for his last visit and sounds very much into track as well as football. If he wants to see the football field, let alone crank the TE rotation as packed as that room is, he will adjust, meaning he will see the field sooner and more often on the D side of the ball….. but let him play we’re he is happy.
