Oregon has gotten a commitment from 4* CB Rodrick Pleasant. Another big DB pull for this staff.

Seems strange that Scoop Duck keeps referring to him as an ATH or WR/CB recruit rather than just a DB.

When was the last time Oregon beat out USC for a 4* caliber player from Serra? Feels like that HS has been USC territory for quite a long time. Impressive pull.

Dollars was from Mater Dei....which we have gotten a ton of guys from actually.

Dollars was from Mater Dei....which we have gotten a ton of guys from actually.

What happen to Serra? Seemed like +10 years ago most of the 5stars and high 4 stars in that area were all coming out of Serra every year and going to USC. But in recent years, we'll only see a 4 star-ish player come out of Serra every few years.

Doubt that’s why we got him. None of these players care if they go against Purdue or WSU.

Maybe the fact that he did not hear from Alex Grinch during the last two week of the recruiting cycle had something to do with it. He emphasized how important relationships were to him.

I guess the coaches at SC and their fan base just assume those championships from 20+ years ago resonate with these 17-18 year old kids. /S
