Looks like people expect him to flip to Tennessee now, where his GF is going. Same reason Oregon lost out on Noah Mikhail to A&M. That'd not be good with all their other top TEs off the board. Probably going to have to go with a transfer or two if they can't flip someone.

Of course, we'd always like to get high rated talent to come in so the coaches can mold them and build them up to their potential.greenyellow wrote: Mon Jul 22, 2024 10:26 am Looks like people expect him to flip to Tennessee now, where his GF is going. That said, just like the NFL, these high school kids don't always pan out. That's why I'm not getting too upset by this. We can bring in a couple of PROVEN guys through the portal and then just try to get more young guys again next year.
It still stings, but it's not like it used to be where we'd strike out completely. Now there's a backup plan.

Flipping to a school because one's gf is going there...greenyellow wrote: Mon Jul 22, 2024 10:26 am Looks like people expect him to flip to Tennessee now, where his GF is going. That was a thought, then I looked it up yesterday and the women's soccer team went 0-16-3 last year, so probably not super enticing trying to get the gf to give up going to a good program to come to the atrocious program that is Oregon soccer. The GF is going to Tennessee on a soccer scholarship from my understanding.bellsduck wrote: Tue Jul 23, 2024 11:43 amWhy don't we just flip the girlfriend?alxtw wrote: Mon Jul 22, 2024 8:09 pmFlipping to a school because one's gf is going there...greenyellow wrote: Mon Jul 22, 2024 10:26 am Looks like people expect him to flip to Tennessee now, where his GF is going.
