95 pitches so far, and we're not done with the 5th. IF Jones can make it through the 5th, we're going to have to have McGough comes up big in relief until we can get the ball to Boer.

He survives the 5th! Easy groundout back to him. Livin' on the edge, Jones, livin' on the edge...

Oregon with 2 on in the 5th (1B and 2B) and only 1 out. Another run would be huge.

He wasn't sharp, but Jones battled today. Only gave up 1 run in 5 IP, and honestly I think Alto was playing out of position on the play that led to the run. That's a good sign of maturity for Jones, who used to get rattled easily when he wasn't sharp.

(I'm assuming Jones isn't coming back out for the 6th)

Double play fly-out gets OSU out of the inning. Altobelli should really never have taken off 2B with the way that ball was hit.

Ugh, the Comcast Trivia Question was "When was the last time Oregon swept a Pac-10 opponent?" Guess when it's NOT going to happen now? This series. Thanks, Comcast.

Although, I though Joe G put on the uber-jinx last night when discussing Oregon's late game collapses: (after Boer had put a runner on) "It can't POSSIBLY happen again tonight, can it, Dwight?" Ugh. Playing with fire there, Joe.

Joe G brings up a solid point (if not another attempt at a jinx):

IF we win today, and IF we win tomorrow, we'd only be 5 wins off of last year's 38-win regular season mark. Before the postseason last year, we were 38-22. If we sweep this weekend, we'd be 33-26. Kind of crazy, isn't it?
