Yes, Stein, to the more keen eye, is nothing more than the offensive version of Brady Hoke.wepto wrote: Sat Oct 11, 2025 1:04 pmThe media (and casual fans) are lazy, and Lanning likes to run up the score against bad teams. Great pass by Moore, but as far as the game, I'm not worried about the first half at all. Lanning has spend the years just stocking depth, stocking depth, every year we get a little deeper on the bench. Yes, they have NFL dudes on their first team lineup, but no way can they can play with us for 4 quarters. We have NFL dudes on the bench just waiting to get in. Lets see how they look in the 3rd and 4th.

1 out of 3 isn't good enough. The point you're making would be applicable if people were complaining about only scoring on 4 out of 5.droop10 wrote: Sat Oct 11, 2025 1:11 pmImagine us casuals not freaking out when the offense doesn’t score against a decent defense every possession.wepto wrote: Sat Oct 11, 2025 1:04 pmThe media (and casual fans) are lazy, and Lanning likes to run up the score against bad teams. Hey, I'm willing to complain about Tosh, as well as Stein, especially after that last drive. IU absolutely shredded the Ducks D, which does not bode well for the rest of the game.

Yeah, the corners are giving a big cushion and giving up the shorter passes...rodentslayer wrote: Sat Oct 11, 2025 1:21 pm Hey, I'm willing to complain about Tosh, as well as Stein, especially after that last drive. Even more than that, it's the inability to stop the run which will win the game for IU. That makes those intermediate to long passes far more open for them.duckpoint wrote: Sat Oct 11, 2025 1:24 pmYeah, the corners are giving a big cushion and giving up the shorter passes...rodentslayer wrote: Sat Oct 11, 2025 1:21 pm Hey, I'm willing to complain about Tosh, as well as Stein, especially after that last drive. Who is the color commentator? Dude will literally ignore everything Oregon does to point out how great Indiana is.

Kind of starting to feel a bit like Penn State. We’re progressing on Offense but operating in fits and starts but little uncharacteristic errors are either getting us off schedule or stalling drives (Noah in 1Q and JJ a few minutes ago).

Similar to what the pre-NIL alabama, clemson, ohio state, and gerogia teams used to do.
