Sucks to see such a great effort by defense and special teams wasted. Texas Tech will dust the rust off and a 3-0 or 6-0 lead with all of the first half momentum might not be enough.

Generally dominant 1st half and we’re one TT TD away from losing. Crazy.

Or, we're another Tech turnover from being back in FG range to make it 2 scores at half!

If they are not going to throw downfield, at least stop with those stupid screens. Try the flats or a slant.

If we can escape from this offensive catastrophy can they please just part ways with Stein well and move on?

Another way to look at it is, Stein is playing the long game. Think about it, remember when CK used to spend the entire first half running east and west plays so by the time the 3rd quarter came around the defense was puking trying to just get back to the LOS? I mean, TT defense isn't going to come out 100% in the 3rd quarter after spending the entire game on the field.

Tech plays base 3-4. They don't match personnel in most cases. They have bigger (and more) players in the box most of the time. This forces teams to pass, where they have a very good pass rush. Shouldn't expect a ton of run yards in this one.

That might have been the most frustrating half of offense in Oregon football history.

203 passing yards
-7 rushing yards

And we rushed almost 50% of the time.

Texas Tech has 0 answer for our passing downfield. Cannot believe how much we’ve been running…
