There are definitely some groups who are hoping to sow discord and increase the temperature because they think it'll help their cause. It's also not helping that government leadership is lacking in Minnesota as ICE, Border Patrol, and other federal agencies have been conducting arrests and operations in other states with little to no problems. There's been a fundamental shift in how some view fraud, illegal immigration, and even basic rule of law that has been stoked by bad actors (namely biased media, social media and foreign bot accounts,) poor leadership, and one-sided fact-checking that has radicalized a portion of the population into thinking they need to be at DEFCON 1 at all times or the government needs to be overthrown because an election didn't go their way.
Increase the temperature is a good way of putting it. I’d be pretty surprised if a lot of those bots aren’t foreign too. Plenty of domestic support for the bots pushing both sides. That’s why I brought up the talking points a few pages back. You can see the right wing ones pushing the same few points on this shooting, and you can see the left wing ones pushing the opposite. I think anyone who throws out enough of those is probably a bad faith actor whether they want to believe it or not. Everyone can replace their main stream media content with far, far worse sources. Just because it’s not ABC/CBS/NBC/FOX doesn’t mean it’s better.

If anyone has Facebook I suggest going to some of your local/county level political pages for both sides and reading through the comments. Those are usually not bots and actual real people. It’s amazing how no matter which side you’ll see dozens of posts about how xyz election was stolen because of xyz reason, or how a future election will be stolen if they lose because of xyz reason. Just a shocking belief system that they believe it’s actually impossible for their side to lose fairly and that they are 100% justified/the correct choice, without fail.
The rising tensions isn’t a “both sides” issue as evidenced by fact that most of the leftist leaders vowed their intent to obstruct/prevent deportations in their jurisdictions even before Trump assumed office. So of course, the opposition was never against the way that the deportations would be conducted, but rather against deportation altogether….which is likely what people posting on here also believe but are afraid to admit it.

The values of the left change every 5-10 years or so based on political expediency. Obama was the deportation czar during his administration and so were presidents before him. Y’all have been fooled into “orange man bad” again.

It's been shown that the vast majority of bot accounts on Twitter/X and Facebook are foreign based from Pakistan, India, UK, and Eastern Europe but hired by foreign actors like China, Iran, Qatar and Russia to sow confusion and discord in the political debates within the country. Throw in AI and deepfakes and it's a total mess online. Way too many people have fallen prey to this and it's caused the political climate on both sides to absolutely plummet. People who've spent way too much time online or get their info from bad sources no longer see each as other real people. Some have also gotten way too comfortable posting and getting likes/positive comments on videos of themselves calling for revolution, murder of those who disagree with them, assassinations, vandalizing property, and attacks on LEO/government officials. It's clear from many of these videos that there's a severe mental health crisis going on and it's being made worse by the political climate.

It's also not helping that countries like China are funding many of these radical political groups through proxies (look up Neville Singham, Jodie Evans and the Party for Socialism and Liberation) to further their foreign policy goals. Even Qatar is backing many pro-Iran and pro-Palestine/Hamas groups through donations to college campuses and use of botnets.

I mean, that’s all true but it has been the mainstream media mostly responsible for the heightened temperature (ABC, CBS, NBC) related to this specific topic.

If you really believe all of that I just recommend disconnecting for a while. Take a walk, avoid the news, something. If you really can’t see the dangerous rhetoric on both sides and really believe all this stuff about the left you should really just take a break for a bit. It’s not healthy.

Not healthy is scouring social media and reading the posts that people related to this topic. Also your post has no substance. How can facts be “unhealthy”?.

Are you really denying that the left has not substantially changed its stance when it comes to borders, illegal aliens, ICE, and deportation? Is that your actual stance ? If so, your consumption of information is not expansive enough.

Obama even awarded Tom Homan a prestigious civil service award during his administration. lol.

Stop pretending to toe the line of both sides and admit your leftist bias already.

Yes it is the same thing because you either have rights or you dont.

So either make the argument that the government is making that these are domestic terrorists or grow a back bone and develop some consistency.

Saying they were not innocent is BS when they were murdered by the State. Like what is wrong with some of you to justify this type of action, is it just that you support Trump that much?

Your moral posturing is getting old.

Remind me: wasn’t Hamas within its moral right to murder 1,200 Israelis/Arabs on 10/7?

He's moving elsewhere again like he's been doing since last year in LA, Chicago, Charlotte, New Orleans/Louisiana, and Minneapolis.

As far takes on the latest incident go, this one might be the most reasonable and rational, even if it is on Fox News.

Some people realize they would have to make deep personal changes to stop supporting a madman. They wont' do that.

I couldn’t agree with Joey more, what the hell are you doing with a gun at a protest and then getting physical with federal agents

This is sociopathic behavior to disarm someone and then shoot them while other officers are on top of them and call it justified.

What are Federal Agents doing shooting a woman from the side and yelling "fcking btch" at them?

Definitely the makings of a Christian society, that's for sure.

Maybe he shouldn't have kept resisting when he had that many officers on him. It was his choice to keep making the situation even more chaotic and violent.
